In light of Valentine’s Day, The Book Club has teamed up with Planthood (Amsterdam) to host a speed dating event.

This is a special edition of The Book Club, wherein you will be paired together with a stranger and, with the use of Book Club quote cards, will be given the space to meet a new person through an intimate conversation about a book. After 8-10 minutes, we will switch around the attendees to allow for new connections to blossom.

The pairs will be sat in front of vases and seasonal blooms, where you will be tasked to perform a floral arrangement activity, designing your own bouquet as you discuss whatever topic you’re given through the cards.

This event is geared towards connecting singles looking to meet new people (friends, lovers, or partners), through an interactive evening.

You do not have to have read the books before the event. We will discuss the topics touched in the book as part of a larger discussion and refer to excerpts from the book to support arguments etc.
